SightFlex

If you own an Apple iSight web cam, you know that the most frustrating aspect of this otherwise
Gorgeous product is the continual challenge to figure out how to mount it exactly where you want it.
Other than the Powerbook clip, the mounting clips provided by Apple are, at best, only marginally acceptable solutions.
And, at worst, the OEM clips will frequently leave you with no good way to put your iSight where you need to put it.
That can be frustrating.

This is one of those products that looks great, and the concept is, but the product itself fails miserably. I bought 3 when they came out. 2 of them were broken at the base, where the goose-neck connects with the base. The base itself was also broken on one of them. The company was very nice, they sent replacement stands inmediately (they did not want the damaged ones back), and the replacements together with the original unbroken one, lasted an average of 3 weeks. The failure always happned at the jucture of the goose-neck with the base. If you plan on setting the camera in place, and don’t plan on ever touching or moving it, then I might increase my rating to 2 stars, but the odds of your never having to move it are slim indeed. Use clothes-pins and rubber bands instead.

This is the best stand for the isight, very flexible and has a good quality feel about it. If you can find the isight, which is still the best webcam ever made you won’t be disappointed. It will stay in the position you find is right for you.
